Product design
As a product designer, I offer a versatile and wide toolbox of skills through relevant
education and experience. I like to work with innovative product development from idea to
finished product, as well as quality control of products to meet user needs.
I have an eye for the whole design process, and can efficiently convey a
design concept to ensure functional and commercial trends on to products.
"Roots"
Roots is a collection of functional work wear for kitchen and restaurant industry.
By using future oriented Nano-tex materials, adding user-friendly features, and better-adapted fits, the products are designed to make the workday easier and more comfortable.
It is applied decorative pattern on parts of the products to enhance the identity inspired by Nordic cuisine with the focus on our culinary roots and proud Norwegian tradition.
Memorial monument
The memorial monument is designed to be inviting and to encourage user interaction and unity at the cemetery.
We want our memorial to communicate the future, a new form of burial, and a community with dedication and quality.
In this way we create not only a suitable area for relatives and deceased, but also takes a step into today's growing issues around graveyard deficiency.
This was a project in collaboration with my fellow student Pernille Arnet
Light Path
Light Path is a module based corner lamp that uses natural sunlight as a light source. Using fiber optic, sunlight is transported from the outside and in to the lamp, and gives a sense of natural light where there is no natural access to it.
In order to achieve appropriate light the lamp uses a solar collector placed on the roof or wall and rotates with the sun’s trajectory.
Make me
Birds
Birds is a mood watch inspired by natur. Based on birds, the watch is a
illustration of that time passes quickly, actually flies by.
The watch has a composition of materials as molded wood, sandblasted aluminum and molded acrylic. When the
light sources lights up, the carvings on the watch creates a mystical mood.
Make me
"Make me" is a lamp inspired by craft work. The lamp is a product for customers who want to put their personal touch to the home. By creating your own display of textile pattern. You can choose the feeling, and what type of message Make me shall show.
Making the lamp creates a shared memory when it is formed together with friends or family. And can be an excellent learning tool for those who want to learn or maintain craft traditions in an inspiring
